The excellence process
that began at Nilit Migdal
Ha’emek in April 2010,
was also put into motion
this past year in other
sites worldwide.The
essence of the process,
that is intended to help
Nilit meet its growth
targets, is a transition
from
good to excellent
and an aspiration for
constant improvement
in all aspects of activity –
inputs, ongoing managerial
activity, work processes,
maintenance, improved
profitability, etc.All this
is part of an unceasing
strive for excellence and
for preservation of Nilit’s
leadership.
The process is based
on a flywheel concept
of excellence, whose
guiding principles are:
the right people for
the job; resolute coping
with difficulties; an
organizational culture
combining discipline
and entrepreneurship;
aspiration to be the best in
all fields of the company’s
involvement; and
converting the process
via consistent, persistent
and well channeled activity
into building momentum
for a breakthrough and
beyond.
The shaping of the
excellence process at
the sites was led by the
managers and local staff
at each site, based on the
insights gleaned from the
first stage of implementing
the process in Israel.
