Building a Green Future - Shikun & Binui with the Community and the Environment With Teenagers: Building a Green Future with the Ort Network students Our collaboration with the Ort Network began three years ago and has intensified during the 2010- 2011 study years. The goals of the project were: gaining increased environmental awareness at the infrastructure and content level; becoming familiar with the environmentalist activities of Shikun & Binui; and encouraging students to initiate environmental projects both at school and within the community. Our activities covered three schools: • Ort Ebin in Ramat Gan - working with about 40 students (11th Grade) majoring in biotechnology. • Ort Shapira in Kefar Saba - working with a group of about 25 students (10th Grade) majoring in architecture. • Ort Technikum in Givatayim – working with a group of about 80 students (in two 9th Grade classes).
