Building a Green Future - Shikun & Binui with the Community and the Environment Community relations policy at Shikun & Binui Activities that benefit the community include applying the company’s professional resources, encouraging the active involvement of volunteer employees and making financial investments. Over the past years, more than 250 volunteer employees have participated in our community relations activities per annum, investing more than 1,000 volunteer hours. We sponsor a variety of activities targeted at promoting the welfare and success of: • Children and teenagers – in cooperation and with the support of a variety of institutions for advancing environmental education and child welfare. • Soldiers – the counter-terrorist battalion (in the context of the ‘Adopt a Soldier’ campaign sponsored by AWIS (Association for the Wellbeing of Israel’s Soldiers). • The elderly and low income populations – to whom we reach out during both holidays and weekdays (collecting consumables, volunteering, etc.). 6
