Marketing Around theWorld:
Fashion Show in China
In May, two Nilit fashion shows took place in China, one in theYiwu region and the
second in the Shantou region.
The fashion show included four models, and was colorful and impressive. The
clothing presented included products from all over the world, many are made out of
Nilit’s nylon 6.6 yarns. In addition, a number of presentations were shown that dealt
with developments of our special yarns, as well as the latest trends in underwear,
sportswear and hosiery.
Both shows together were attended by over 200 customers, who enjoyed the
opportunity to get a close look at our flagship products and receive explanations
from the sales and technical service personnel about the modes of production and
the diverse options for using Nilit yarns.
Nilit Presents FashionTrends for Spring-Summer
2014
in a New and Colorful Trend Book
Nilit’s trend book was designed this year for the first time by
Renen
Ben-David
,
our house designer, who has been working for many years
in the Product Development department managed by
Alon Weiser
.
The unique design contributed greatly to the new look that we are
currently presenting.
In spring-summer 2014 Nilit envisions an emergence from the
recession years and a breakthrough with innovative ideas and original
designs. This is a season where bold creativity will replace the play-it-
safe approach.
In the new trend book, Nilit presents one of its latest developments:
Nilit Breeze – a yarn that helps cool the body and imparts a sense
of comfort to the wearer. Nilit's Innergy, Ecocare, Britex, Colorwise,
Arafelle and Pastelle yarns were also presented.
The trend book was divided into six groups of fashion tendencies
according to end-product category:
Three groups of
undergarments
:
the shapers, currently also
characterized by a fashion statement in addition to the functional
aspect; classic underwear with touches of drama and glamour, as well
as a baroque style; and a third group, young and fresh, conveying naiveté
together with sexiness.
Three groups of
sportswear
:
the classic group characterized by
functional designs that contribute to improving athletic performance
together with an up-to-date fashionable look; a group that relates to
the personal development of body and soul as in yoga and meditation,
including, among other things, the use of recycled yarn for a natural
look; and a third group focusing on extreme sports – climbing, diving
and the like. The clothing in this group is characterized by bold colors
and daring designs.
