An Educational Visit
at a Customer Site
Recently a group of employees visited
a customer’s site to see theirWarping
Operation with specific emphasis on
their
Lindly Quality System
.
A new
version of the system was installed
at Nilit America, and therefore the
employees wanted to learn about it
from people with experience. The
group met with the company’s owners
and with the directors of Quality
Assurance and Production.

Israel
:
This was a special experience, both professionally and personally.
Professionally, this was a learning experience. I learned how to be open to a
different culture and to other ideas; things are done differently in Israel and
in the US. Together with the operators and managers, we improved the data
collection system in Packaging and Production. This improvement enabled us to
visualize” the problems and led subsequently to improving
the way in which we handle irregularities and malfunctions.
We subsequently improved all the working methods for
handling the spinnerets: disassembly, cleaning and assembly
and improving the work tools.
Together with HR we also developed a comprehensive
training program for handling the yarn routes.
As a family, this was an amazing period for us.The children
studied at a Jewish school and we had the opportunity
to get involved in the Jewish community. In addition, we
enjoyed the special opportunity to tour the US.
Thanks to everyone at NilitAmerica for their assistance and friendship
during my stay. I will miss you all!
Father’s Day
at Nilit America
Fathers Are Special People!”
Every year, as Father’s Day
approaches,
Rhelda Shelton
takes pains to decorate the cafeteria for
the special topic. Rhelda displays old
photos of Nilit fathers and the
employees have fun identifying them.
